New Blogs for the Holidays

Ah Christmas is near. People turn their focus to family and friends. Meals have to be planned, gifts have to be bought, cookies baked, headlines made fun of. Okay the last one is just me but you get the drift. What better way to celebrate this time of year than by reading new blogs? Welcome to the New Blog Showcase Carnival!

We begin with the only submission this week. Catmology has been around since October and chronicles the work of Aloysius. The description reads: "Aloysius Katz, aka Aloysius Pangur Ban, M.F.A. (Master of Feline Arts) writes poems, short essays and book reviews and muses about life as a cat. Catted is a poem dedicated to his amanuensis." Check it out.

I decided that one was not enough so I scanned the blogosphere in search of new blogs. Here are some new faces I found. Visit them. I command you.

It's Just Ris Yes RIS is the Ravenous Imp of Spite. Ravenous for what I am not sure. Blogging since September Ris has adorable pictures of her kid. Here's Kate in her pretty Dress. She also wields a mean lightsabre.

From across the pond If found Add A Little Ginger To Your Day... Rich discribes himself as I am very Big and very Loud and very, very Ginger. Oh, and quite hungry too. He has been blogging longer than three months by about two months. He also like to load his posts up with pics. Today Rich posts Make your own error messages

And lastly we visit "The First State" of Delaware. Delathought has been commenting on the political climate of Delaware since, well since Thursday. He has a bit to say about spying on domestic terrorists. Read his(her?) post Weighing In

Next week the showcase will be at Where Are My Socks. Be sure to check them out.
