"religious institutions that are, by nature, non-commercial and, by law, tax exempt, would be the first to be targeted by the bulldozers because of their alleged lack of economic contribution to the community,"What will elected officials do if a religious institution wants to purchase property in a high growth area? Combine that desire to purchase with the church's moral stand against revenue raising gambling and you have another threat to the institution's plans, but also its tax exempt status.
All the more reason for Christians to fight this piece of judicial activism.
