Because Everybody Is Entitled To My Opinion

What Does the Future Hold

Obama was gracious during his victory speech. He spoke to a bright future and fixing America’s problems. But will he keep his promise to reach across the aisle and heal the nation? In a word; No.

People are already harkening Obama’s second term to that of Bill Clinton where he made his famous move towards the center. Clinton was able to compromise with the Republicans to get things done. It is wishful thinking to believe Obama will do the same. After all why should he move? Why should he do anything any differently than he already has? Why should he start keeping promises now?

He won’t and here’s why; Today is November 7th. Politically we are in the exact same place we were on November 5th. Obama is President, the Dems have the Senate and the Republicans have the House. We have no budget and unemployment is still high. This is Obama’s America. We are where we are because of his policies and he did nothing to keep us from getting here. In fact he drove us here. He has no incentive to change his approach to governing this nation and his approach is “Tax and Spend”. I see Obama taking this, the last opportunity he will ever have, to ram his reckless socialist agenda down this nation’s throat.

So what does the future hold? More lies, more cover-ups, more executive orders, more attacks on the Constitution, more attacks on individual liberties, more fiscal irresponsibility, in short more of the same.
