Because Everybody Is Entitled To My Opinion

"O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, . . . in wrath remember mercy" (Habakkuk 3:2).
"Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?" (Psalm 85:6)

Where Are We Going and Why Are We in This Handbasket

The news here in Northeast Ohio was pretty bleak this morning. I am not talking about the 14 inches of snow that fell, melted and threatens to flood the Black River. I am talking about this child molester who forced a 9-year-old girl to sing Britney Spears' "I'm Not That Innocent" before raping her. He also raped several other girls. Thank God he got a life sentence.

Another area man tried to tell a judge how sorry he was about raping his 10-year-old daughter repeatedly. He said he never meant to steal her childhood. It was obviously a written statement that someone else wrote because he couldn't even recite it without stumbling over the words. The jury sentenced him to 23 years. The judge threw out the sentence and gave the man 30 years saying the man obviously thought of his little girl as his lover. I applaud the judge's wisdom in this instance.

A third man has been charged with felonious assault. He shook his baby son so hard he suffered brain damage and is in a PVS.

News like this is becoming more commonplace. It shouldn't. We should be getting better right? We live in the richest, freest, most powerful society in the world. Why then are people becoming more depraved?  It is because we are turning our backs on God. We are allowing godless liberal Moonbats to legislate God out of public school and government. You can see the effect in the news everyday. Just like shadow is the absence of light, cold is the absence of heat, evil is the absence of God.

We as conservatives and Christians need to increase our efforts to turn this trend of Godlessness in America around. The liberals are at the helm and they are driving us straight over the edge into the abyss. And they are very happy about doing it.
