Because Everybody Is Entitled To My Opinion

"O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, . . . in wrath remember mercy" (Habakkuk 3:2).
"Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?" (Psalm 85:6)

Where Are We Going and Why Are We In This HandBasket Part ll

Mother charged in stabbing deaths of 9-year-old son and 3-year-old daughter
Another installment of WAWGAWAWITH finds a mother suddenly stabs her children to death. The story gives no reason. The father comes home with a friend that was living with the family to discover the scene. The children ages 9 and 3 were stabbed over 100 times and evidence suggests that they tried to fight off their "attacker" (in other words, their Mom). Interestingly enough, this is not the first tragedy that has befallen this family. In 2000 a fire in their home claimed the life of their 3 month old baby. Officials say they originally had no reason to suspect foul play but now they are going to reopen the investigation.

Okay now you can call me anything you want but I am going to suggest that maybe this is a case of demon possession. Some of you may ask, "Do you really believe in demon possession?" Fair question and the answer is unequivocally yes! Jesus and His Disciples spent a great deal of time casting out demons and devils. The Bible makes it clear that these creatures existed during Jesus' time so why not today? It would explain such evil behavior. The more progressive Christians among you may not believe in demons and will chalk this up to mental illness. I am sure this woman will receive a whole battery of psych evaluations and they will all say she's crazy. There is no test for demon possession however. Now I don't subscribe to that whole William Peter Blatty-Exorcist type possession. That is too blatant. But I believe some lost people are possessed by demons and saved Christians are oppressed by demons. As we get closer to the return of Jesus, the demons become more active. Their time is running out. So we are going to see more stories like this. And that is a real shame.
